Upcoming Events at Kathok Gonpa
We are
blessed, following this abundant summer, to welcome the return of our teacher,
Tulku Karzang, Rinpoche. He has advised of the following events over the next
few weeks and also is pleased to announce the visit in September, of H.E.
Lingtrul Rinpoche, founder of Kathok Gonpa and our main teacher. As always, the
schedule below is flexible and may be subject to change. Tulku Karzang has
expressed that he is very happy with the progress of the sangha during his
absence and would like, as much as possible, to continue the involvement of
sangha members in facilitating practices.
Friday, September 03-7PM Dakini
Day! Tulku Karzang will conduct a Yeshe Tsogyal,Dakini Tsok. Come with the
motivation to benefit all sentient beings, bring bells and damarus and
offerings of fresh fruit and flowers to honor the Queen of Great Bliss.
Sunday, September 5-10:30AM Teachings
on the accomplishment of Guru Yoga with Tulku Karzang.
Thursday, September 9-7PM Prajnaparamita
Night-reciting and reflection on the Heart Sutra. Facilitated by Trish Edwards.
Sunday September-12-10:30 AM 100
Session Mind Training. Continuing with the four thoughts that turn the mind, the
readings and reflections will be on the suffering of everything composite
and the suffering of birth.
After 100 session Mind Training please join us and Lingtrul Rinpoche for a Pot Luck! Bring a dish to share and a chair and enjoy some intimate time with Lingtrul Rinpoche.
Thursday, September 16-7PM The
Transference of Consciousness to Great Bliss, the practice of Pho’wa,
facilitated by Chris Duckworth.
As always, all are welcome to attend at any of the above events. Donations for teachings are gratefully received.
